Bio
I am an Assistant Professor of Research in the Center for Advanced Materials Research at the University of Texas at El Paso. My research is focused on exploring semiconductor thin films/nanostructures and their implementation in optoelectronic, photovoltaic, and photo-electrochemical energy harvesting applications. My primary research areas include epitaxial growth of group III-V quantum dot and nanowire; infrared photodetector; intermediate band solar cell; light emitting diode; heteroepitaxial growth of UWBG β-Ga2O3 and r-GeO2; deep UV photodetector; flexible supercapacitors; and photo-electrocatalysis.
